THERAPY IN CHAPPAQUA, NY + NEW CANAAN, CT
Warm, practical therapy for the whole family.
For kids, teens, parents and adults, in person and virtually across NY and CT.
PRESSURE SHOWS UP AT EVERY AGE.
School. Work. Friendships. Family. The push to keep up, keep achieving, keep it all together. Kids, teens and the adults who love them are carrying more than they let on, and it shows up as anxiety, withdrawal, or just not feeling like yourself anymore.
Something feels different.
Your child used to bounce back easily, and now everything feels bigger. Your teen is exhausted by school but can't stop pushing. Or maybe it's you: running on empty, lying awake with a mind that won't quiet, looking fine to everyone but feeling anything but.
The earlier you get support in place, the more it can change how the next few years go.
A NOTE FROM OUR CLINICAL DIRECTORI built the kind of practice I'd want for someone I love.
15 years in inpatient and partial hospital mental health · Former Inpatient Program Director & Director of Partial Hospital Programs · Licensed Clinical Social Worker, NY & CT
Before founding Terra, I spent 15 years in inpatient and partial hospital psychiatric care, first as a therapist, then leading programs for children, adolescents and adults. I sat with thousands of families at some of their hardest moments, and I kept seeing the same gap: once people left the hospital, quality, sustained care was hard to find.
Terra is my answer to that. It's a practice built on both clinical rigor and real human connection. Not one instead of the other, but both, together. That's the standard every therapist here is held to, and what I want every family to feel from the first call.
I'm also a parent myself, so I know both sides of this: the clinical side, and what it feels like to worry about someone you love.
Today I oversee clinical care across the practice and still see a small caseload of my own, including kids, teens, and adults navigating anxiety.
