THERAPY FOR MOM’S IN NEW CANAAN, CT + WESTCHESTER, NY
You love your kids. And you've completely lost yourself.
What does losing yourself in motherhood actually feel like?
Like you're doing everything right and still feel empty. Like you love your children more than anything and also desperately miss who you used to be. Like everyone around you seems to be handling it and you're the only one falling apart behind closed doors.
Motherhood is beautiful and brutal and nobody talks honestly about the brutal part. The exhaustion that goes bone deep. The identity that shifted without your permission. The version of yourself you're not sure you can find again.
The postpartum anxiety or depression no one warned you about
The loss of identity that comes with becoming a mom
The pressure to be grateful when you're actually drowning
The mom rage, the guilt, the "what is wrong with me"
The loneliness of feeling invisible inside your own life
Motherhood at any stage — newborn to grown kids
You are more than a mom. Let's find her again.
How therapy works
Motherhood is hard enough. Therapy shouldn't be.
You don't need to prepare for therapy or have the right words before you come in. Babies are always welcome at in-person sessions—this is a judgment-free space for you and for them.
Therapy is available in person in New Canaan, CT, or virtually throughout New York and Connecticut, including Westchester County. Virtual sessions can make therapy especially accessible during pregnancy and motherhood—no commute, no childcare to arrange, and no pressure to get yourself and a baby out the door. In-person Westchester appointments are coming soon.
We'll meet you where you are and focus on what actually matters to you.

FAQs
-
Absolutely. This isn't just about the newborn stage. The identity loss, the exhaustion, the pressure to hold everything together — these show up at every stage of motherhood. You don't need to be postpartum to deserve support. Schedule an Appointment

Yes — and it's one of the most common things I hear. Taking care of yourself isn't a luxury. It's what makes everything else sustainable. You cannot pour from an empty cup — and you deserve support regardless of how "serious" your situation looks from the outside Schedule an Appointment

Absolutely. Babies are welcome at in-person sessions in New Canaan. You can feed, hold, soothe, or tend to your baby during the session—there’s no expectation that therapy has to happen under perfect conditions.
Virtual therapy is always an option, too, and can make it easier to fit therapy around naps, feeding schedules, and childcare. For older children, we generally recommend arranging childcare so you have the privacy and space to speak openly and focus on your own session. Schedule an Appointment
